Since 2015 the department has adopted Outcome Based Education system. The adopted vision, mission, Program Educational Objectives and Program Learning Outcomes can be found over here. To impart high quality Electrical Engineering education through modern teaching and research for the national and international socio-economic development. Recently the department has adopted Outcome based learning education system. FACTS :Presently, more than 132 students had been enrolled in undergraduate program. The department has a strong alumnae backup numbering more than 100 alumnae, leading the national and regional development. |

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) are broad statements consistent with the department’s and institute’s mission and vision, and describes the expected achievements of graduates in their career and professional life 3-5 years after graduation. Following are the new approved PEOs of Electrical Engineering Department:

The following strategic characteristics and aspirations will enable the department to realize its vision and mission of electrical department:
SP1: The department considers its faculty members as an important element of strategic plan and aims to induct more faculty members with higher education and having academic distinctions. Currently, the faculty members have expertise in Power Systems, Telecommunications and Electronics.
SP2: The department encourages its faculty members to pursue higher studies and to play an active role by involving students in research through their participation in conferences, seminars and workshops.
SP3: The department has well established 13 laboratories including 2 computer laboratories where extensive trainings are provided to students in the form of experiments and practical demonstration.
SP4: Undergraduate curriculum that emphasize breadth and depth of education, which link to areas contiguous to Electrical Engineering.
SP5: Educational and research partnerships with other national Universities
SP6: Highly successful alumni who contribute to the profession in the global society.
SP7: QCET has an up-to-date library which contains a large number of books related to different engineering topics.
SP8: Different workshops relevant to entrepreneurship and project management are arranged frequently to develop leadership skills.
